We provide medical treatment exclusively to all patients who have sustained trauma and injuries resulting from work-related accidents, car accidents, or any other causes.
What We Do
“Trauma” is the medical term for injury, and Park Avenue Trauma is a facility and group of physicians whose entire mission is the optimal diagnosis and treatment of the broad range of injuries sustained by our patients. We assist patients suffering from job-related injuries, i.e. New York State Workers’ Compensation, as well as those who have experienced other causes of injury, such as slip-and-fall injuries or car accidents (New York State No-Fault).
Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide the most complete and comprehensive care for our patients, ensuring that they get the best possible care for their injuries. Our well-trained staff of medical doctors, physical therapists, and administrative personnel is committed to helping our patients in all their medical requirements for as long as they are needed.
The Evaluation and Staffing Difference
After the initial examination by Dr. Hedrych, the immediate availability of a staff of highly qualified specialist physicians and other credentialed medical staff make it possible to continue the evaluation and treatment process without interruption.
This Staff Includes Board Certified:
- Orthopedic Surgeon who in particular treats injuries of the shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee, and ankle performing procedures which include injections or surgery if needed.
- Neurologist who performs EMG/NCV & SSEP studies to determine if muscles and nerves are working properly. This is done if symptoms of shooting pain, numbness, tingling, or muscle weakness occur.
- Pain Management Specialist, who treats very painful conditions especially of the neck and back with specialized medicines or advanced procedures which may involve various types of injections or even microdiscectomy.
